Challenge

In rare disease, launch success depends on much more than product attributes. Before stakeholders can adopt a new treatment, they need to understand the disease, recognise the eligible patients and believe in the need for a different approach to care.

Our global client was preparing for launch across multiple markets, with varied levels of disease awareness and market readiness. They needed a strategy that could align Medical, Commercial and local market teams behind a shared view of what needed to change.

BRAVE Approach

Rather than starting with a standard launch-planning template, BRAVE built a three-year strategic foundation from insight.

We brought Medical and Commercial perspectives together to define the opportunity, the barriers to overcome and the mindset and behaviours required for launch success. This created a clear strategic direction that could guide confident decision making across the launch journey.

We then translated the strategy into launch-market brand plans, enabling countries to adapt the approach to their local context, without losing strategic consistency.

The same foundation also shaped a disease awareness narrative designed to move stakeholders from passive recognition to urgent action.

Results / Impact

The work gave the client a clear, insight-led launch strategy across priority markets, aligning teams behind one shared direction.

It helped to establish a consistent disease and brand strategy, strengthened launch readiness and ensured the strategic foundation was pulled through into launch materials.

The work contributed to a PMEA Launch Excellence award win, recognising the strength of the strategic thinking, the shift in HCP understanding and the role of launch execution in supporting define patient access to treatment.
